Will I experience skin sagging in my chin area after liposuction?
In young and middle-aged patients with good skin elasticity, the skin recovers wonderfully after fat removal and tightens by adhering to the bone. However, in patients with significantly deteriorated skin quality or excessive sagging due to age, liposuction alone may not be sufficient; it may need to be combined with a neck lift procedure. This will be clearly determined during the examination.
Is chin liposuction painful?
You will not feel any pain at all during the procedure because the area is completely numb. After the surgery, instead of pain, there may be a slight feeling of tightness, tenderness, and fullness in the area for a few days. This period is very comfortable with painkillers.
Can bichectomy (Hollywood Cheek) or chin augmentation be performed at the same time?
Absolutely! In fact, in the facial balancing concept we call "Profiloplasty," these three procedures are often performed together. When can I return to work or my social life?
