How long does the examination take, and is the endoscopic procedure performed the same day?
A standard ENT examination takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on the details of the patient's complaint. If deemed necessary, examination of the nose, pharynx, or vocal cords with a camera can be performed during the same session, completely painlessly.
Is Private Health Insurance (ÖSS) or Supplementary Health Insurance (TSS) valid?
Yes. Since our clinic operates within Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital, we work with many insurance companies that the hospital has agreements with. You can inform our assistant about your policy coverage when making your appointment.
If a decision is made to have surgery, what is the process?
If we decide on a surgical procedure, we share all the details of the operation with you transparently. We schedule your surgery date according to your calendar, and we quickly complete all necessary pre-operative tests and anesthesia approval processes within our hospital on the same day.
What is your process for patients coming from out of town or from abroad?
You can have a preliminary consultation with us before your arrival and send us your test or imaging results. After scheduling, we optimize your examination and surgery processes according to your stay in Istanbul (usually 6-7 days).
Is there an age limit for rhinoplasty (nose surgery)?
The basic rule is that facial and bone development must be complete. This limit is generally around 17 years old for women and 18 years old for men. The determining factor for the upper age limit is the patient's overall health status.
When should I come for my post-operative check-ups?
We would definitely like to see you in the first week for splint/tampon removal and wound check. After that, we will continue to closely monitor your healing process with check-ups at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year.
