Simple nosebleeds usually originate from the front of the nose, while severe, uncontrollable bleeds may originate from the back. In our clinic, we clearly locate the source of the bleeding with high-resolution cameras; we then permanently stop the bleeding by gently sealing the affected vessel with chemical cauterization This is both a very painful process for the patient and the bleeding usually resumes when the tampon is removed. My approach at Dr. Nurten K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck is to pinpoint that single bleeding vessel with millimeter precision using high-resolution endoscopes and seal only that point.
